When you have purchased your KLIM® gear from ATR Superstore, you can contact us with complete peace of mind in the event of an accident. We take care of the entire crash handling process and ensure correct, clear and personal follow-up of the complete case. You do not need to worry about administration or unclear procedures — ATR Superstore guides you from start to finish.
All steps in the crash process are guided by us in-store, ensuring you are fully taken care of. We make sure that the case is built up and followed correctly, completely and in accordance with the guidelines of KLIM®.
This is how the crash handling process works
ATR Superstore initiates the entire process for you, reviews all requirements together with you and actively follows up the case:
- We assist you in taking and collecting clear photos of the damaged, qualified KLIM® gear
- We guide you in providing a copy of the official accident or police report (mandatory)
- We fully initiate the official KLIM® crash claim for you and ensure a correct and complete submission according to the applicable guidelines
- We verify that all required documents and photos are uploaded correctly and completely
- After submission, we actively follow up the case; KLIM® reviews the claim and typically contacts you within approximately 10 business days regarding approval or rejection
⚠️ An official police report is mandatory in order to determine whether the claim qualifies for repair or replacement.
Which KLIM® gear is eligible?
The crash guarantee applies to qualified KLIM® gear, including:
- KLIM® GORE-TEX motorcycle jackets and pants
- KLIM® GT1 Expedition
- KLIM® X1 Alpha
- KLIM® Krios ADV helmet
KLIM® evaluates each accident individually and reserves the right to approve or deny claims based on the applicable conditions.
Important conditions (transparent and clear)
Crash claims are not approved if:
- It is demonstrated that the rider caused or contributed to the accident through illegal activities
- The rider was under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other mind-altering substances
If KLIM® requires physical inspection of the damaged gear, the item must be shipped by the customer. Shipping costs are at the customer’s expense.
