The Great Basin Saddlebag is designed to rest on the pillion seat and anchor securely to the passenger footpeg mounts. Its position can be adjusted per motorcycle and rider preference, as fitment varies depending on motorcycle design, rider height, and riding style. Taller riders may prefer positioning the saddlebag farther back on a tail rack, while others choose a more forward position to create a supportive backrest for on-road riding. On certain motorcycles, partially mounting the saddlebag on a tail rack also allows easier access to an under-seat fuel tank.
